Job summary

Lhoist North America is seeking a load-out operator to inspect trailers, ensure correct product loading, and maintain safe, efficient dock operations. You will prepare bills of lading and coordinate with teams to keep scale areas clean and compliant with safety standards.

The role requires 1–2 years in a load-out environment and a CDL, along with strong math, multitasking, and independent work abilities; shift work including holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of experience in a load-out environment.
• CDL required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect truck trailers and railcars prior to loading to ensure cleanliness.
• Distribute product types into trucks and load correct weight per shipment.
• Maintain smooth, efficient flow of truck loading.
• Complete bill of lading for truck shipments.
• Train and cross-train staff on equipment related to load out.
• Keep truck scales clean and maintain a water-free environment.
