Job summary

UPS is seeking an Automotive Technician to join its fleet maintenance team. You will maintain a diverse range of vehicles and systems, including diesel, gasoline, and alternative propulsion technologies, across heavy-duty and delivery fleets.

The role requires hands-on mechanical skills, the ability to troubleshoot hydraulic and electrical systems, and a willingness to work 2nd or 3rd shifts depending on location. Starting wage is $40.20 per hour with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Current documented automotive mechanical experience.
• Experience using diagnostic equipment and scan tools.
• CDL (Class A/B) preferred or willing to obtain within 6 months.
• Dependable with ability to report to work regularly and work varying shifts.

Responsibilities

• Meet D.O.T requirements for the job assignment.
• Perform tasks requiring bending, lifting, and climbing as needed.
• Operate standard/manual transmissions and power tools.
• Ensure safety and use PPE as required.
