Job summary

UPS is seeking a reliable Automotive Technician to join our fleet maintenance team in Vermont. The role involves maintaining a diverse range of delivery vehicles and meeting DOT requirements as part of daily duties.

The position requires current automotive experience, use of diagnostic equipment, and bringing your own hand tools; a CDL is preferred. Williston-based work with variable shifts and full-time permanence.

Qualifications

• Must have automotive mechanical experience.
• Experience using diagnostic equipment, scan tools and PC.
• Possesses full complement of personal hand tools.
• Class A/B CDL - Preferred.
• Vermont State Inspection Certified - Preferred.
• Available to work varying shifts and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Meets DOT requirements for the job assignment.
• Bends, stoops, squats, kneels, crouches, climbs ladders and stairs; stands and walks as required.
• Sits infrequently during the workday.
• Handles hand tools and fine motor tasks.
• Operates standard and manual transmissions.
• Operates power and pneumatic tools.
