Job summary

UPS is seeking an Automotive Technician to join our fleet maintenance team. You will service a diverse range of equipment, including delivery vehicles, heavy-duty tractors, and trailers from various manufacturers.

You will troubleshoot electrical systems, hydraulics, and engine controls while complying with DOT requirements. The role requires a valid driver license, own hand tools, and flexibility for varying shifts.

Qualifications

• Active driver's license required.
• Experience with diagnostic equipment, scan tools and personal computer.
• Class A/B CDL preferred.
• Diesel tractor experience preferred.
• Possess a full set of personal hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Meets DOT requirements as assigned.
• Operate standard and manual transmissions; use power and pneumatic tools.
• Maintain and troubleshoot a diverse fleet of vehicles including delivery vans, heavy-duty tractors, and trailers.
