Job summary

UPS is seeking a reliable Automotive Technician to join our fleet maintenance team. You will service a diverse range of vehicles including delivery vans, heavy tractors, and trailers from various manufacturers.

Expect work on diesel, gasoline, and alternative propulsion systems such as CNG, LNG, propane, hybrid, and some electric setups. The role requires troubleshooting hydraulic brakes, air brakes, electrical systems, and engine controls, with shifts 2nd or 3rd and varying schedules across

Qualifications

• Active automotive mechanical experience.
• Experience using diagnostic equipment, scan tools and PC.
• Possesses a full set of personal hand tools.
• Class A/B CDL is preferred.
• Dependable with regular attendance and on-time reporting.

Responsibilities

• Meets DOT requirements as applicable.
• Operate vehicles and equipment including delivery trucks and heavy-duty tractors.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools safely.
• Perform troubleshooting and maintenance on hydraulic, air, electrical, and engine systems.
