Job summary

UPS is seeking an Automotive Technician to maintain a diverse fleet including delivery vehicles, tractors, and trailers with diesel, gasoline, and alternative propulsion. You will troubleshoot hydraulic brakes, electrical systems, and engine controls while working 2nd or 3rd shifts across varying schedules.

Must have a valid US driver’s license and bring your own hand tools. CDL preferred. Competitive weekly pay, comprehensive benefits, and movement through defined training paths are offered.

Qualifications

• Current documented automotive mechanical experience.
• Experience using diagnostic equipment, scan tools and personal computer.
• Possesses full complement of personal hand tools.
• Class A/B or A CDL (CDL) - Preferred.
• Dependable with regular and timely attendance.
• Wears PPE as required.

Responsibilities

• Meets D.O.T requirements required by job assignment.
• Operate standard and manual transmission vehicles and tools.
• Work varying shifts (2nd or 3rd) including different weekly schedules per location.
• Maintain safety and job performance in a dynamic environment.
