Job summary

Required CDL, MA inspection license, MACS/EPA certs, and ability to lift up to 100 lbs. Onsite role with 3pm–11pm hours, overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of mechanical experience or equivalent
• CDL license or CDL permit within 6 months of hire
• Must meet federal/state standards for operating assigned vehicles
• MA State Safety Inspection License (or obtain within 6 months)
• Valid state driver’s license with clean driving record
• Air Brakes Inspection certificate (or obtain within 6 months)
• MACS EPA refrigerant handling certification (or obtain within 6 months)
• OSHA/state safety compliance requirements
• Ability to lift/move up to 100 lbs
• Drug/alcohol test if CDL required

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair on all vehicle types and equipment in Verizon fleet
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair equipment including aerial lifts, generators, tools
• Use computer test equipment to diagnose vehicle problems
• Interfacing with vehicle users regarding repairs
• Complete OSHA/ANSI/emissions/state inspections on vehicles
• Maintain fleet maintenance tracking systems for work orders and parts
• Obtain and maintain required certificates/licenses
• Work evenings, weekends, or unscheduled shifts as needed
• Meet safety requirements and company policy
