Job summary

United Parcel Service, Inc. is seeking a reliable Automotive Technician to join our fleet maintenance team. You will service a range of equipment including delivery vehicles and heavy-duty tractors and trailers, with propulsion from diesel, gasoline and alternative power plants.

You will troubleshoot hydraulic brakes, electrical systems and engine controls and wear required PPE. Uniforms are provided and weekly pay is offered.

Qualifications

• Current automotive mechanical experience required.
• Experience using diagnostic equipment, scan tools, and PC.
• Must possess a full complement of personal hand tools and a valid CDL Class A.

Responsibilities

• Meet DOT requirements for job assignment.
• Operate vehicles and equipment including power and pneumatic tools.
• Maintain safety and efficiency while performing tasks.
• Adhere to uniform and PPE requirements.
• Be available for varied shifts and possible overtime.
