Job summary

OpenAI is seeking a Client Platform Engineer to build and own agentic solutions that automate fleet operations and reduce employee friction. You will develop first-party software, integrate tools, and manage changes from design through deployment and production operations.

Ideal candidates have deep Linux fleet security experience and strong software engineering skills to automate security controls across compliant environments, with a focus on improving employee experience.

• Deep experience securing and managing Linux fleets at scale.
• Strong software engineering skills to automate security controls and fleet operations across environments with different compliance requirements.
• Passion for automation, endpoint security, and building scalable solutions that improve employee experience.

Responsibilities

• Build the platforms that help employees do their best work on devices they can trust.
• Own the design, development, deployment, and operation of secure Linux endpoint management systems across environments with different compliance requirements.
• Create magical employee experiences by building agentic workflows with OpenAI products and models that use fleet telemetry to anticipate issues, guide remediation, and design friction out of everyday work.
• Make new hires productive from day one, using OpenAI products to simplify device setup, software delivery, and onboarding support.
