Job summary

OpenAI is seeking a Software Engineer for Operating Systems & Orchestration to design and build systems that manage hardware, configurations, vendors, and the people interacting with our infrastructure. You will help integrate nodes into unified clusters, advancing AI research by simplifying the research user experience in a hybrid SF Bay Area setting.

You will work on tooling for cloud and bare-metal fleets, tie in low-level hardware metrics with scheduling, and use LLMs to coordinate vendor

Qualifications

• Experience designing and operating large-scale infrastructure.
• Knowledge of cluster-level systems and automation practices.
• Familiarity with hardware integration and server-level concepts.
