Job summary

Masters Transportation in Kansas City, MO is seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician to maintain and refinish our fleet vehicles, including buses, vans, and trucks. You will inspect damage, perform repairs, prepare surfaces, and ensure a professional finish while returning vehicles to service.

You will use body shop tools, follow safety guidelines, and collaborate with the shop team to meet timelines. This full-time role offers competitive benefits and growth within a privately owned fleet

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with valid driver's license.
• Completion of an accredited automotive collision repair program, or 3+ years of related experience.
• Working knowledge of collision repair methods and refinishing.
• Ability to read repair procedures and work orders.
• Safely operate body shop tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect fleet vehicles for damage and determine repair needs.
• Perform collision and body repairs on buses, vans, trucks, and other fleet vehicles.
• Straighten and reshape damaged panels using hand/power tools and machinery.
• Prepare surfaces for refinishing and apply coatings.
• Maintain safety procedures and document work orders accurately.
