Job summary

Avis Budget Group is hiring a Fleet Operations Associate in Warwick, RI to keep Zipcars ready for members by cleaning, maintaining, and coordinating transport as needed. You will move around the city by foot, bike, public transit, or Zipcar to ensure vehicles are ‘member-ready’ and support the Zipcar fleet across the area.

The role emphasizes customer-focused service, flexibility to cover various shifts, and being part of a team that values ownership and integrity.

Qualifications

• Strong time management to juggle multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication with operations team to ensure vehicle status updates.
• Flexibility to work 40-hour weeks including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Willingness to work outdoors (weather and other conditions vary).
• Valid Driver’s License and an acceptable driving record.

As a Fleet Operations Associate, you will work all around the city as part of our Fleet Operations Team to ensure cars are clean, maintained and transport them to where they need to be for our Zipcar members. You’ll zip around by foot, bike, public transit or use a Zipcar to ensure our vehicles are ‘member‑ready’ – this might mean changing a tire, filling the gas tank, cleaning, or helping to coordinate a tow or repair.

• Ability to carry tools and marketing materials (up to 50 lbs.)
