Job summary

Zipcar is seeking a Fleet Operations Associate to keep vehicles clean, maintained, and ready for Zipcar members across the city. This role requires moving around town by walking, biking, or Zipcar while coordinating tire changes, fueling, cleaning, and potential tow or repair support.

You will be the front line for member satisfaction, proudly representing Zipcar as a brand in the community. The position supports a fast-paced, outdoor, operational environment with diverse daily tasks.

Qualifications

• Strong time management skills to juggle multiple priorities and tasks.
• Excellent communication with operations team to ensure the vehicle status updates are provided.
• Flexibility to work 40-hour weeks which includes days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Willingness to work outdoors (weather and other conditions vary).
• Valid Driver’s License and an acceptable driving record (per company standards).
• Ability to carry tools and marketing materials (up to 50 lbs.)

Job description

As a Fleet Operations Associate, you will work all around the city as part of our Fleet Operations Team to ensure cars are clean, maintained and transport them to where they need to be for our Zipcar members. You’ll zip around by foot, bike, public transit or use a Zipcar to ensure our vehicles are ‘member-ready’ – this might mean changing a tire, filling the gas tank, cleaning, or helping to coordinate a tow or repair.
