Job summary

SIXT is seeking a Fleet Assistant to help manage repairs, inventory, and documentation for our vehicle fleet, collaborating with stakeholders to keep operations efficient and accurate. The role offers growth opportunities and an hourly rate of $21.25.

You will perform daily inventory checks, assist with maintenance scheduling, prepare new vehicles for rental, and support disposal, accident reporting, and registrations. Strong organization and US work eligibility are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and at least 1 year experience performing administrative tasks in an office setting; automotive dealership, vehicle registration or car rental is preferred.
• Basic computer navigation skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Highly organized with ability to manage fleet inventory, repair schedules, work orders and documentation.
• Must be 18+, hold a valid US driver's license with a clean driving record, and be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Role requires 40 hours per week, some day/evening shifts and 5–10% travel, possibly by air.
• Willing to wear a company uniform; speaking additional languages is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily fleet inventory checks for accurate vehicle tracking.
• Assist Fleet Manager with scheduling maintenance, obtaining estimates, and coordinating with dealers and body shops.
• Prepare new vehicles for rental, handle documentation, spare keys, and tagging in inventory system.
• Assist with vehicle disposal prep, including condition reports and equipment verification.
• Support accident reporting, subrogation tasks, and coordinate tag registrations/renewals.

In this role, you will manage repairs, handle fleet inventory, and ensure accurate documentation for our vehicles. YOUR ROLE AT SIXT

• You will perform daily fleet inventory checks, ensuring accurate vehicle tracking and management
• You will assist the Fleet Manager in scheduling maintenance and repairs, obtaining estimates, and coordinating with dealerships and body shops
• You will prepare new vehicles for rental, handling documentation, spare keys, and ensuring proper tagging in our inventory system
• You will assist with vehicle disposal preparations, including condition reports and verifying equipment completeness
• You will support accident reporting, subrogation tasks, and coordinate tag registrations and renewals for all vehicles

YOUR SKILLS MATTER
