Job summary

The Nevada Department of Wildlife is seeking a Fleet Specialist to manage all department-owned assets including vehicles, vessels, specialized equipment, trailers, and ATVs/UTVs, ensuring compliant acquisition, utilization, maintenance, tracking, budgeting, and disposal.

This role relies on data systems for budgeting, forecasting replacement cycles and maintenance costs; strong communication and organizational skills are essential to support fleet operations and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Must have knowledge of applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and agency policies.
• Experience with fleet management processes and data tracking systems.
• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative relationships and generate reports.

Responsibilities

• Assist in composing and updating technical specifications for fleet assets.
• Facilitate registration, payment, and insurance processes for Department assets.
• Input and maintain data in electronic or paper records with integrity.
• Manage the fleet fuel card program and related processes.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
