The Nevada Department of Wildlife is recruiting for a Fleet Specialist responsible for the coordination, oversight and lifecycle management of all Department owned assets to include vehicles, vessels, specialized equipment, trailers and ATVs/UTVs. This position ensures proper acquisition, utilization, maintenance, tracking, financial planning, and disposal of assets while ensuring compliance with all applicable state and federal laws, regulations, and administrative requirements. Using agency databases, the incumbent will support budgeting and planning for fleet needs, including forecasting replacement cycles and maintenance costs.
Fleet Specialists facilitate fleet operations including vehicle and equipment acquisition, utilization, maintenance, and disposal.
One or more years of applicable experience as described in the job duties and graduation from high school or equivalent education.
