Job summary

Fluidstack seeks a hardware fleet specialist to own the lifecycle of compute assets across multiple sites. You will manage receipts, deployments, spares, RMAs, and decommissioning, ensuring uptime and accurate records for a growing infrastructure.

The role emphasizes data-driven spare strategies, asset tracking, and warranty recovery. You will collaborate with procurement and operations to optimize capital and support a fast-paced frontier compute environment.

Qualifications

• You've managed a hardware fleet or asset base of tens of thousands of units.
• You've set spares levels from failure data and defended the working capital they consume.
• You keep asset records accurate enough to survive an audit without a scramble.
• You've run RMA and warranty recovery programs that returned real money.
• Bonus: GPU or server fleets; DCIM and asset systems; reverse logistics; depreciation and capital planning.

Responsibilities

• Own the hardware fleet lifecycle: receipt, deployment, spares, RMA, and decommission across every site.
• Set spares strategy per site, levels, locations, and replenishment triggers, balancing availability against capital.
• Track fleet health and utilization so aging, failure rates, and warranty positions drive decisions instead of surprises.
• Coordinate fleet moves between sites, from packaging standards to chain of custody.
