Job summary

Wingstop is seeking a friendly, detail‑oriented cook in Charlotte, NC. The role focuses on preparing Wingstop’s famous wings, fries, and sides with consistent quality and cleanliness in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Experience in professional cooking is preferred; Food Handler Certification is required. Ideal candidates demonstrate teamwork, efficiency, and a strong work ethic to support an exceptional guest experience.

Qualifications

• Professional cooking experience preferred (1 year)
• Cooking: 1 year preferred
• Line cook: 1 year preferred
• Food Handler Certification required
• Cook/restaurant experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Ensure every guest has a positive Wingstop experience
• Practice safe cooking procedures
• Scan and comprehend order tickets quickly
• Count wings and fries accurately for each order
• Coordinate cook times for wings and fries
• Sauce, season and package all orders per Wingstop standards
• Maintain fryer and kitchen cleanliness throughout shift
• Notify Manager on Duty of safety or sanitation issues
• Assist other staff as needed
• Follow directions from Manager or Supervisor
