Qualifications

• Must have valid Class C driver’s license.
• CDL preferred but not required.
• Clean driving record with no major violations.
• Medical Examiner Certificate (MEC) required.
• DOT qualification and background checks will be conducted.

Responsibilities

• Safely recover and transport vehicles using flatbed tow trucks and equipment.
• Perform loading/unloading and proper vehicle securement procedures.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain equipment readiness.
• Coordinate with dispatch and logistics teams for efficient vehicle deployment.
• Maintain DOT compliance and complete required logs and documentation.
• Represent the company professionally in all field operations.

In this role, you will be responsible for safely recovering, transporting, staging, and relocating company vehicles throughout an active operations network. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, mechanically inclined, experienced with flatbed towing operations, and comfortable working in dynamic roadside environments.

Job Details

• Safely perform vehicle recovery, transport, and staging operations
• Operate flatbed tow trucks and recovery equipment
• Transport vehicles weighing between 10,001 and 26,000 pounds GVW
• Perform vehicle loading and unloading procedures
• Utilize proper vehicle securement techniques
• Conduct roadside recovery operations
• Support vehicle relocation and logistics activities
• Maintain operational readiness of assigned equipment
• Assist cross-functional teams with vehicle deployment activities
• Represent the company professionally in the field

Daily Responsibilities

• Vehicle recovery and roadside assistance operations
• Winching and loading disabled vehicles
• Use of soft straps, tie-downs, wheel securement systems, and recovery equipment
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain DOT compliance and required documentation
• Track Hours of Service requirements
• Complete inspection and delivery logs
• Communicate with dispatch and logistics teams
• Refuel and inspect assigned equipment
• Perform basic troubleshooting and report maintenance concerns
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work areas

Requirements

• Valid Class C Driver's License
• CDL preferred but not required

Preferred Qualifications

• 4 to 6 years of flatbed towing experience
• Experience operating rollback and flatbed tow trucks
• Vehicle recovery experience
• Knowledge of winching techniques
• Experience with vehicle securement procedures
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• DOT compliance knowledge
• Experience working around roadside hazards and traffic

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
• Frequent entry and exit from tow truck throughout the shift
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and operational conditions
