TruckingPeople in Miami is seeking an experienced Flatbed Tow Truck Operator (Class C) to safely recover, transport, and relocate vehicles throughout the Miami area. You will operate a flatbed tow truck, perform loading and securing, and maintain logs in accordance with DOT rules.

This role offers competitive pay at $28 per hour with modern equipment and a supportive team. A clean driving record, valid Class C license, and at least 2 years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of professional flatbed towing or vehicle recovery experience.
• Valid Class C Driver's License with clean driving record.
• DOT medical and physical requirements must be met.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a flatbed tow truck to recover and transport vehicles.
• Load, unload, and secure vehicles using proper recovery techniques.
• Transport vehicles between designated locations and maintain logs.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report issues.
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and HOS requirements.
• Communicate with dispatch and operations teams; assist as needed.
• Perform roadside recovery and operate winching equipment safely.
• Coordinate with logistics and maintenance staff as required.

We're hiring an experienced Flatbed Tow Truck Operator to safely recover, transport, and relocate vehicles throughout the Miami area.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a flatbed tow truck to recover and transport vehicles
• Perform vehicle loading, unloading, and securement using proper recovery techniques
• Transport vehicles between designated operational locations
• Conduct pre-trip, post-trip, and daily vehicle inspections
• Ensure compliance with all DOT regulations and Hours of Service (HOS) requirements
• Maintain accurate driving, inspection, and delivery logs
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations teams
• Perform roadside vehicle recovery when required
• Operate winching and recovery equipment safely

Perform basic vehicle servicing, including:

• Fueling
• Fluid checks
• Tire pressure inspections
• Reporting maintenance issues
• Maintain assigned equipment in clean, safe working condition
• Work collaboratively with logistics and operations teams

Qualifications

• Valid Class C Driver's License required
• Clean driving record with no major moving violations
• Minimum 2 years of professional flatbed towing or vehicle recovery experience preferred
• Experience operating rollback or flatbed tow trucks preferred
• Ability to meet DOT medical and physical requirements
• Strong knowledge of vehicle loading, securement, and recovery procedures
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Flexible schedule availability
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening
