Steel Technologies LLC is seeking an Experienced Truck Driver with a Class A CDL. The role involves operating a heavy-capacity truck to move steel products between company locations and to customers. You will perform routine vehicle inspections, document issues, and ensure cargo is properly secured for delivery.

Candidates should have a Class A CDL and at least two years of driving experience, with steel hauling preferred. DOT/FMCSR knowledge and safe driving are essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Class A CDL license.
• At least two years of driving experience; steel hauling preferred.
• Knowledge of DOT/FMCSR rules and safety requirements.
• Ability to operate a clutch pedal and tractor-trailer safely.

Responsibilities

• Operate a heavy-capacity tractor-trailer to transport steel products.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and monthly checklists.
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, or traffic violations.
• Secure cargo using ropes, chains, binders or covers.
• Maintain accurate inspection paperwork and delivery documentation.
• Follow pre-determined pickup and delivery schedules.
