Job summary

Quirk Auto Dealerships in Marshfield, MA is seeking a Flat Rate Service Technician for our busy service department. Compensation will be based on experience, and training is available for the right candidate; this is an in-person, full-time role.

The position involves diagnosing vehicle systems, test-driving for verification, and providing repair estimates to the Service Advisor while prioritizing customer needs and maintaining efficient workflow.

Qualifications

• Diagnose engine, transmission, suspension, brakes, steering, electrical, A/C systems.
• Test-drive vehicles to verify repairs.
• Provide service advisors with repair estimates and recommendations.
• Assess client needs and identify innovative solutions to meet them.
• Maintain organized workflow and prioritize tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

Quirk Auto has opportunities for inspired and motivated individuals who have the desire and passion to succeed. Compensation will be based on experience however we are always willing to train the right candidate!

Key Required Proficiencies

• Using Diagnostic Equipment and Special Service tools to test vehicle components
• Test-driving vehicles for diagnosis and repair verification
• Diagnosing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, suspension, brakes, steering, electrical, air conditioning, etc.
• Providing the Service Advisor with an estimate of any additional repairs needed
• Assess individual client needs and think of innovative ways to get results

Preferred Skills

• Experience in managing and organizing work time and work-related activities

• Strong willingness to learn
