Job summary

Rapid Medical is seeking contractor drivers for a Flagstaff to Phoenix route. You will transport specimens and packages, document each delivery in the driver app, and ensure appropriate temperature control for specimens as needed. A flat per-route rate is paid, with bonuses and a sign-on incentive.

Independent contractor arrangement requires 1099-NEC reporting and background checks. Training is provided. Contractors operate on a SIT (start time 3:00 PM) schedule with Saturday routes and mileage

Qualifications

• Delivery experience or courier background preferred.
• Ability to follow route schedules and communicate delays.
• Commitment to safety and proper handling of specimens.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specimens and packages along the Flagstaff–Phoenix route.
• Photograph pickups/deliveries and log proof of delivery via the app.
• Maintain required temperature for specimens (room, refrigerated, or frozen).
• Coordinate with dispatch for schedule changes and updates.
• Ensure compliance with license, insurance and driving standards.

Rapid Medical is a tech-forward logistics partner for labs, clinics, and health systems — operating across various states and managing thousands of daily stops that keep healthcare running.

Route: Flagstaff to Phoenix - 318 miles ( 3:00 PM start, SAT)

Contractors located within 15 miles of the start point, end point, or anywhere along the route are well-suited for this position.

Pay

• All-inclusive rate per route — mileage, drive time, and expenses are already factored in (no separate per-mile pay).
  
• Weekly bonus: $20–$100
• Training bonus: paid after 30 days with no call-offs
• Sign-on bonus: $150 after 30 days active with no call-offs
• Paid via bi-weekly direct deposit or same-day cash-out (fees may apply)

What Makes Someone Successful Here

Reliable and on time. Detail-oriented. Communicates quickly when something comes up. Comfortable adjusting on the fly. Delivery, rideshare, or courier experience is a plus but not required.

What the Route Looks Like

• Run your stops using our driver app — navigation, scheduling, and real-time support built in
• Photograph pickups/deliveries and log proof of delivery through the app
• Handle specimens carefully and keep proper temperature (room, refrigerated, or frozen as required)
• Contact dispatch right away if anything looks damaged, improperly packaged, or off

What You'll Need

• Personal vehicle (2016+ preferred), valid license, active insurance, satisfactory driving record (MVR)
• Smartphone (iOS 13+/Android 11+) with reliable data
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs
• 21+ years old
• Delivery, rideshare, or courier experience a plus — not required
