Toys“R”Us is seeking a Store Manager for our flagship Tanger San Marcos location. You will lead daily operations, drive sales, mentor Associates, and coordinate with Merchandising, Promotions, Events, Training and Finance to deliver a memorable customer experience.

The role emphasizes KPI achievement, team development, and building a fun, safe, and profitable store. Requirements include a BA/BS or associate degree, 2+ years retail leadership, and strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• BA, BS or Associate’s degree required.
• Minimum 2 years in retail, hospitality, events, or teaching.
• Proven retail store manager with sales focus.
• Strong leadership, accountability, and willingness to receive feedback.
• Knowledge of retail operations, merchandising, inventory, and loss prevention is preferred.
• Flexible schedule including holidays, nights and weekends.
• Proficient computer skills; POS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create an animated, engaging environment that motivates the team and delivers a memorable customer experience.
• Build a customer-focused team, recruit and train Associates to meet sales targets.
• Provide leadership with training, feedback, and regular reviews.
• Plan and analyze KPIs, events, and ROI to drive sales and store performance.
• Teach knowledge sharing and product training to staff and partners.
• Run a safe, profitable store with strong loss prevention and operational routines.
