Heidelberg Materials North America is seeking a field-ready laborer to support paving, grading, pipe installation and other site work across our Pennsylvania projects. You will operate small tools and equipment, maintain a clean work area, and follow all safety policies.
The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and ability to lift 50 lbs. Shifts include day, night, and weekends depending on construction contracts.

Alert or stop traffic intermittently as required by the progress of work in a work zone. Operate small equipment and hand tools on a variety of job sites consisting of paving, grading, pipe installation, and site work. Maintains housekeeping of job site and facilities, ensures equipment is in good working order Working knowledge of methods, materials and tools used in asphalt paving, typical site work, grading, storm/sanitary/water pipe installation, etc Properly follow all Company policies and procedures for safe working procedures and environment. Report any problems to the Foreman, Superintendent, or Safety Manager. Performs routine inspection and preventative and corrective maintenance on small equipment and hand tools if within abilities; escalates issues that are not repairable or safe. Routinely assists other members of the crew as needed, including shoveling and cleanup Fuel, oil and grease to ensure proper function of equipment and complete associated paperwork Performs other related activities as assigned
Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
