Job summary

Heidelberg Materials NE LLC is seeking a hands-on asphalt plant operator to ensure safe, efficient production. You’ll monitor equipment, perform routine inspections, and coordinate material flow to meet production standards.

What You'll Be Doing

• Ability to operate and learn plant systems, controls, and related equipment
• Strong awareness of safety practices in industrial or manufacturing settings
• Capability to perform basic mechanical troubleshooting and equipment checks
• Dependability in following procedures, documentation, and production standards
• Effective communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced environment

Conditions of Employment

Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing

Work Environment

Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level
