Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Outdoor work in all weather conditions
• Good communication with crew
• Able to remain stationary for long periods
• Flagger Certification Required

Responsibilities

• Establish safe movement of traffic around work zones
• Flag motorists to warn of obstacles or repair work ahead
• Take ownership of the work zone and pass vehicles safely
• Set up signs, barricades, cones and other warning devices as assigned
• Respond to emergencies and assist with public safety and property protection
