Job summary

Hinkle Contracting, LLC, a CRH company, invites you to join its traffic control team in Kentucky. In this role you will perform traffic control and flagging at work zones, place signs, barricades, cones and other warning devices, and interact with the public and crew professionals while prioritizing safety.

Candidates must pass pre-employment drug screen and background checks, be willing to travel, work nights and weekends as needed, and maintain a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Pass a pre-employment “Fit for Work” physical.
• Be able to provide I-9 documentation.
• Report to work at the designated start time.
• Be willing to travel extensively for projects.
• Be willing to work nights and weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform traffic control and flagging at work zones.
• Follow safety rules and regulations on all sites.
• Interact professionally with the public, supervisors and coworkers.
• Place signs, barricades, traffic cones and other warning devices.
• Assist paving crew with duties and operate small tools when needed.
