Olen Properties is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform apartment maintenance tasks on-site in Coral Springs, FL. The role includes troubleshooting, repairing, and replacing items such as plumbing, electrical, appliances, and air conditioning.

You will help prepare vacant units for occupancy, participate in community maintenance, and respond to service requests. A valid Florida driver’s license and own tools are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of maintenance experience.
• Strong customer service and positive communication.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing laws.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs; up to 100 lbs occasionally.
• Must provide own hand tools unless stated otherwise.

Responsabilités

Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Location: Coral Springs, FL 33071

Position Type: Full Time

Salary Range: $20.00 - $21.00 hourly

Responsibilities

• Perform apartment maintenance tasks, including maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing or replacing items such as plumbing, electrical, appliances, and air conditioning.
• Assist with the preparation of vacant apartments for occupancy and help with apartment turnover in general.
• Participate in community maintenance duties, including building maintenance, preventative maintenance, service request completion, groundskeeping, and other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least one to two years of related maintenance experience and/or training.
• Strong customer service skills and a passion for helping people.
• Ability to communicate effectively and in a positive manner with residents, vendors, and co-workers.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing laws.
• Capable of frequently lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds, occasionally moving or maneuvering up to 100 pounds.
• Have reliable transportation to and from work. For Florida, must have valid driver’s license.
• Must provide and use own hand tools to perform duties required unless otherwise specified by the property.
• Effective problem solving and time management skills.
• Good attention to detail.
• Team player attitude.
• Able to respond to emergency calls after scheduled work hours, weekends, and holidays when needed.
