Job summary

Capano Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician/General Maintenance to perform a range of building repairs and preventative maintenance in a multifamily environment. The role requires working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and painting, and includes responding to emergencies and conducting inspections of units and common areas.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, a valid drivers license, own transportation and basic tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; six months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination.
• Must have good communication skills and basic knowledge of construction and repair processes.
• Must have a valid drivers license, own transportation and tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor building, HVAC, plumbing, electrical and painting repairs as necessary.
• Implement preventative maintenance measures.
• Maintain inventory of repair equipment and supplies.
• Complete inspections of buildings, units, office and amenity space as needed.
• Respond quickly in the event of an emergency, notify appropriate personnel and follow safety protocol.
• Perform other maintenance duties as requested.
