Job description

Position Summary

The Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking to fill one (1) fixed-term faculty position in the Organizational Behavior academic area, with an anticipated start date of January 1, 2027. The successful candidate will have strong expertise and a track record in teaching business ethics and be a creative, innovative, and effective teacher capable of contributing to the School's undergraduate, MBA, executive, online, and other master’s level programs in the Organizational Behavior area.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, teaching Business Ethics in the Undergraduate, MBA, and EMBA programs. Additionally, the candidate will contribute to service such as committee work, professional talks, mentoring, and impact activities such as presentations at meetings and conferences, research, and publications in the field of interest that positively enhance the School, business community, and society.

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements

Applicants must have completed a PhD degree (or foreign equivalent) granted in Organizational Behavior, Social Psychology, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or Human Resource Management prior to beginning work activities. The selected candidate will receive an initial appointment as Clinical Assistant Professor, Clinical Associate Professor, or Clinical Professor, depending on credentials.

Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience

Teaching experience at the university level is preferred. Experience with online-format hybrid and virtual teaching is also preferred.
