Job summary

Keolis Transit America is seeking a dedicated Bus Operator for fixed-route service with MWRTA in Framingham, MA. The role offers a starting rate of $26.77 per hour and a $10,000 sign-on bonus for CDL A/B with Passenger and Air Brake endorsements, plus a $2,500 bonus for non-passenger endorsed operators.

Full-time, on-site position requiring customer-facing responsibilities, defensive driving, and adherence to safety and ADA policies.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• 5 years verifiable valid Driver's license; MA CDL B or higher with Passenger and Airbrake endorsements preferred.
• Must be eligible to obtain CDL Class C with Passenger endorsement.
• Clean DMV record (last 10 years).
• Stable work history; CPR, AED and First Aid Certification provided by the company.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist passengers, ensuring courteous service.
• Communicate clearly with passengers, including during service disruptions.
• Assist passengers and provide schedule information as needed.
• Perform pre/post trip inspections and log defects.
• Follow deadhead routing and assigned routes precisely; depart on time.
• Maintain safety and ADA compliance and operate wheelchair lifts as required.
