Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on stationary quarry equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues with crushers, screens, conveyors, pumps, and plant systems.
• Replace bearings, belts, pulleys, motors, gearboxes, liners and other components as needed.
• Conduct welding, cutting, and fabrication work to repair or modify equipment and structures.
• Assist with equipment installation, alignment, and setup of new plant components.
• Maintain accurate maintenance and service records.
• Work closely with production to minimize downtime and ensure safe, efficient operations.
• Must work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Operate forklifts, skid steers, or other mobile equipment as needed.

Starting pay for second shift candidates is $27/hr. This includes a $22/hr. base pay + $5/hr. shift differential. Pay will be determined based on experience. Experienced candidates are preferred.

Hopkinsville Aggregates is an open-pit limestone quarry seeking a night shift Maintenance Technician for our operation located in Hopkinsville, KY. Responsibilities

The successful candidate for this role will have an uncompromising emphasis on safety excellence, be a self-starter and will have responsibilities that include but not limited to:

• Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on stationary crushing, screening, and conveying equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues with crushers, screens, conveyors, pumps, and other plant systems.

• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods of time throughout the workday, as required to perform essential job functions, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull materials or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Operate mobile equipment (e.g., forklift, skid steer, manlift) as needed for maintenance tasks.
• Follow all company safety policies, lockout/tagout procedures, and environmental regulations.
• Participate in daily safety meetings and communicate equipment issues promptly to supervisors.
