Job summary

Rogers Group, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Quarry in Springdale, AR.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced millwright or maintenance technician capable of sustaining crushers, conveyors and screens, and performing routine inspections and repairs to keep plant operations running smoothly. Work includes welding, fabrication, and general maintenance around the quarry, with an emphasis on safety, OSHA/MSHA compliance, and documenting service records.

Qualifications

• Safety-focused and capable of working outdoors in varied weather.
• Experienced with fixed plant maintenance and plant repairs.
• Experience with crushers, conveyors and screens preferred.
• Must pass drug screen and provide eligibility to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on crushing, screening, and conveying equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and engine issues.
• Conduct welding, cutting, and fabrication work to repair equipment.
• Perform services and general maintenance for all plant areas.
• Inspect equipment for wear and potential failure; document findings.
• Operate mobile equipment as needed for maintenance tasks.

Rogers Group is currently seeking an individual to fill a MAINTENANCE TECHNICIANposition at our Quarrylocated inSpringdale, AR. The successful candidate for this role should be an experienced millwright or maintenance person who can maintain and repair plant operations including working with crushers, conveyors and screens.The job may also include general work around the quarry and other duties as assigned.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on stationary crushing, screening, and conveying equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues with quarry equipment, including hydraulic failures, electrical malfunctions, and engine problems.
• Conduct welding, cutting and fabrication work to repair or modify equipment and structures.
• Perform services and general maintenance for all areas of the plant.
• Regularly inspect all quarry equipment for signs of wear, damage, or potential failure, including belts, bearings, hydraulic lines, and electrical components; make repairs as necessary.
• Maintain accurate maintenance and service records.
• Assist with equipment installation, alignment, and setup of new plant components.
• Properly follow all company policies and OSHA / MSHA / environmental regulations for safe working procedures and environment.
• Operate mobile equipment (e.g., forklift, skid steer, manlift, loader) as needed for maintenance tasks.
• Follow all company safety policies, lockout/tagout procedures.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• An uncompromising focus on safety excellence.
• Mechanical aptitude/ability to diagnose and perform plant repairs as needed.
• Previous fixed plant maintenance or related industry experience is required.
• Experience working with crushers, conveyors and screens is preferred but not required.
• Experience in steel erection/destruction - fabricating, cutting, fitting, and welding - is preferred.
• Self-motivated individual - must be able to perform required duties independently, without constant supervision.
• Team player attitude.
• Work outdoors in varied weather conditions with the probability of dust, noise, heat, and cold.
• Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime, weekends, or different shifts as needed.
• Valid Driver’s License is required.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen at any time.
• Must be able to provide documentation to prove identity and eligibility for authorization to work in the U.S.
