Job summary

Wellington Management Company in Boston is seeking a Fixed Income Trading Co-op candidate. You will monitor trade confirmations and allocations, provide broker/dealer allocations for non-electronic trades, and help resolve trading discrepancies, reporting daily risk indicators to aid best practices.

Applicants must be Northeastern University students. The program starts December 2026/January 2027, offering a four-day in-office schedule with one remote day and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Monitor confirmation platforms to ensure FX and bond trades are matched and allocations are acknowledged and confirmed by broker/dealers.
• Provide manual allocations to broker/dealers for non-electronically matched trades.
• Assist with the research and resolution of trading discrepancies.
• Provide phone coverage and relay relevant information from broker/dealers to traders.
• Produce and analyze daily reports to monitor key risk indicators and help ensure best trading practices.
• Assist in ad-hoc projects or tasks for traders and trade coordinators.
