The ALERT Specialist Co-op will be a member of Trade Operations within Investment Operations. Trade Operations is responsible for supporting the firm’s domestic and international post-execution trade activities. The primary responsibility of the ALERT Specialist co-op is ensuring our client’s global and domestic delivery instructions are accurately maintained on the ALERT platform. The student will coordinate the workflow between Wellington Management Company, Omgeo, our DTCC service provider, and a multitude of custodians. The co-op is tasked with coordinating global market onboarding with broker-dealers and WMC Client Transitions and Client Operations teams. The student may also be asked to work on other ad hoc tasks and projects for the group.
This co-op position entails cross-training to ensure optimal performance across functions. The anticipated start date for accepted candidates is December 2026/January 2027.

The base salary range for this position is:
$19-$35 per hour This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered when making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; role; skills and experience; certifications; and education. This range is an estimate, and further details on salary and total compensation aspects will be shared with candidates during the recruitment process. Base salary is only one component of Wellington’s total compensation approach. Other rewards may include a discretionary Corporate Bonus and/ or Incentives, if eligible.
