Job summary

U.S. Bank in Milwaukee seeks a senior trader to execute fixed income and money market trades for institutional clients.

You will manage the full trade lifecycle from execution to settlement, coordinating with Sales, Operations, and Compliance in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates have 5–8 years of relevant experience, deep knowledge of fixed income products, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5–8 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with fixed income and money market products.

Responsibilities

• Execute client-directed fixed income trades across treasuries, agencies, CP, MMFs, and FDIC sweep products.
• Support full trade lifecycle: execution, confirmation, clearing, settlement, and reporting.
• Balance trades, reconcile positions and cash, and resolve variances.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Compliance, brokers, and counterparties to ensure accurate processing.
• Maintain compliance with procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Provide guidance to junior team members as needed.
