Qualifications

• Six months to two years of trading experience in investment and securities industry.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of fixed-income securities and their markets, trading characteristics and approaches, and factors influencing price trends.
• Basic knowledge and proficiency in the techniques of trading.
• Experience valuing and pricing fixed-income securities.
• Knowledge of trade-related activities on securities exchange floors and electronic trading systems.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience using SQL/Python to extract, analyze and manipulate data.
• Experience using Power BI/Tableau to create data visualization dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for profitable execution of fixed-income securities purchases and sales.
• Executes buy and sell orders at advantageous prices considering order size and market conditions.
• Keeps informed of market conditions to plan and act timely.
• Maintains detailed records for accurate accounting per policy.
• Maintains good relationships with brokers and dealers and negotiates prices.
• Provides investors and management with timely information and recommendations.
