Job summary

Harrington Starr in New York is seeking an Associate – Operations to join its team. You will support end-to-end trade lifecycle across global and domestic markets, coordinating with internal teams, clients and counterparties to ensure accurate processing.

The role requires 3+ years' experience in trade support or settlements, a bachelor’s in Finance or related field, and licences with Series 7/SIE/Series 99 preferred; you will join a fast-paced environment and contribute to compliance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in Operations, Middle Office, Settlements or Trade Support.
• Understanding of the trade lifecycle and settlement process.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business or related discipline.
• Strong attention to detail and client-focused with proactive approach.

Responsibilities

• Process trade allocations and bookings through CTM, FIX Allocation and manual workflows.
• Support domestic and international trades through to delivery and settlement.
• Prepare accurate trade confirmations across multiple products.
• Monitor trades from booking to final settlement and resolve breaks.
• Assist onboarding of new client accounts and sub-accounts.
• Create and track JIRA tickets for system issues and process improvements.
• Participate in UAT and regression testing.
