Job summary

Walleye Capital is seeking a Fixed Income Execution Trader to join our Central Execution Trading Desk in New York. This role supports non-equity businesses, executing across rates, government bonds, futures and swaps, with flexibility to cover non-linear products as needed.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of buy-side execution trading experience, deep fixed income knowledge, and proficiency in Python and SQL.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of execution trading experience on the buy-side preferred.
• Strong experience with linear fixed income products: rates, bonds, swaps.
• Coding experience (Python, SQL) is preferred.
• Willingness to cover Asia/European hours when needed.
• Based in New York, strong communication with PMs and teams.

Responsibilities

• Execute across linear fixed income products (government bonds, futures, swaps) with timely execution.
• Develop and maintain relationships with Portfolio Managers and sell-side counterparties.
• Source liquidity and market intelligence through strong networking.
• Collaborate with risk, operations, compliance, and tech to reduce risk and improve workflows.
• Stay informed on market developments and regulatory changes.
