Job summary

Walleye Capital in New York is seeking a Fixed Income Execution Trader to join the Central Execution Trading Desk. You will execute across rates, government bonds, futures, and swaps, supporting portfolio managers across fixed income and macro strategies.

The role requires deep product knowledge, a builder's mindset, and the ability to cover Asia and European hours. Strong communication and programming skills (Python, SQL) are valued, with NY-based relocation required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of execution trading experience on the buy side is preferred.
• Strong experience with linear fixed income products: rates, bonds, futures, and swaps.
• Willingness to trade equities and support non-linear products as needed.
• Deep understanding of market structure, liquidity dynamics, and execution mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Execute across linear fixed income products in alignment with PM strategy and risk parameters.
• Develop relationships with Portfolio Managers and provide real-time market color and feedback.
• Build connections with sell-side counterparties to source liquidity and market intelligence.
• Partner with risk, operations, compliance, and technology to improve workflows and reduce risk.
• Stay updated on market developments and regulatory changes affecting trading.
