Job summary

Investortools seeks an Application Developer to design and build features within our fixed-income software suite. You’ll translate user needs into technical solutions, and collaborate across client services, engineering, and analytics teams.

You will explain complex system behavior and trade-offs to technical and non-technical audiences, delivering reliable, scalable software in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent.
• Willing to learn and support a robust software suite.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and collaborative skills.
• Enjoy a rapid-paced iterative design and development process.
• Proven ability to work under pressure, manage projects, and meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Learn Investortools’ software platform with a focus on content, controls, information architecture, and system behavior.
• Build understanding of fixed-income investing and how clients leverage technology.
• Analyze complex technical problems to develop scalable solutions.
• Translate requirements into clear technical designs and implementations.
• Create concise proposals and documentation capturing requirements and approaches.
• Design, build, and deliver customized client solutions using internal tools.
• Collaborate with analysts, developers, and client stakeholders throughout projects.
• Communicate complex concepts clearly through documentation and demos.
