New Jersey Resources seeks an experienced fixed asset accounting leader to oversee asset technical accounting and controls in a hybrid work model. You will guide the team, coordinate capital projects, and ensure assets are placed in service accurately and on time.

Key requirements include a Bachelor's in accounting, 10+ years of fixed asset experience, US GAAP/ASC 980 expertise, CPA preferred, and proficiency with Oracle Fusion, Blackline, Maximo and PowerPlant. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
• 10+ years of fixed asset accounting experience.
• CPA is preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of US GAAP and ASC 980.
• Strong leadership, supervisory, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; detail oriented and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in Oracle Fusion, Blackline, Maximo and PowerPlant.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.

Mansioni

• Oversee fixed asset accounting and internal controls.
• Lead, train and develop fixed assets accounting team.
• Partner with project managers on capital projects to ensure assets are placed in service accurately and on time.
• Own the capital budget process and fixed asset close activities; maintain related processes and procedures.
• Manage PowerPlant software and Projects Module in Oracle, including upgrades and enhancements.
• Validate and approve 10-K and 10-Q property schedules and coordinate fixed asset roll-forward schedules.
• Evaluate annual and quarterly regulatory filings related to fixed assets.
• Review plant account reconciliations and prepare related journal entries.
• Respond to audit requests and prepare ad hoc reports as needed.
