New Jersey Resources seeks an experienced fixed asset accounting leader to oversee asset technical accounting and controls in a hybrid work model. You will guide the team, coordinate capital projects, and ensure assets are placed in service accurately and on time.

Key requirements include a Bachelor's in accounting, 10+ years of fixed asset experience, US GAAP/ASC 980 expertise, CPA preferred, and proficiency with Oracle Fusion, Blackline, Maximo and PowerPlant. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate annual and quarterly regulatory filings related to fixed assets.
• Review plant account reconciliations and prepare related journal entries.
• Respond to audit requests and prepare ad hoc reports as needed.

Major Responsibilities

• Maintain strong internal controls and oversee the integration of complex fixed asset activities.
• Lead, train and develop team of fixed assets accountants.

Position Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of fixed asset accounting experience.
• CPA is preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of US GAAP and ASC 980.
• Strong leadership, supervisory, people development, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Highly motivated, detail oriented, team player with the ability to manage multiple assignments and priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, Oracle Fusion, Blackline, Maximo and PowerPlant.
• Ability to travel up to 10% to conferences or related events.

Other Details

Location type is Hybrid

Compensation: Expected base pay range for this role will be $111,000 - $150,000.

Base pay is based on several factors including, experience, skills, and knowledge.

This role will be eligible to participate in an annual short term incentive program.
