Key Responsibilities For The Fixed Assets Manager
- Manage fixed asset accounting including capitalization, depreciation, and subledger maintenance
- Oversee inventory valuation, cycle counts, and physical inventory processes
- Perform monthly close activities including reconciliations, rollforwards, and variance analysis
- Monitor equipment usage, allocations, and capitalization vs. expense decisions
- Support audits and maintain compliant internal controls and documentation
- Partner with operations to optimize asset utilization and working capital
Qualifications For The Fixed Assets Manager
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of experience with fixed assets and inventory accounting
- Hands‑on experience with reconciliations, asset tagging, and close processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CMIC experience preferred
