Hershey Entertainment & Resorts Company is seeking a Supervisor, Fixed Assets and Indirect Taxes to oversee capital projects, fixed assets accounting, monthly closes, and tax filings. You will manage asset additions, depreciation, and real estate tax budgets, while guiding a staff accountant and coordinating with operations on sales/use and hotel taxes.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum of three years related experience with one year supervisory experience.
• Hospitality and Entertainment industry experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise recording and tracking of capital project spending and ensure policy compliance.
• Supervise recording of fixed asset additions, sales, transfers, and retirements, and prepare asset roll-forwards.
• Oversee month-end/year-end project accounting close and reconcile with the general ledger.
• Compile and analyze fixed asset budgets and depreciation expense.
• Prepare audit schedules related to fixed assets and assist auditors.
• Oversee sales/use tax, amusement tax, parking tax, and hotel tax filings and tax reporting.
• Coordinate sales tax audits with governmental agencies.
• Prepare annual real estate tax budgets and reconcile accounts.
• Conduct tax research and prepare memoranda for management and authorities.
• Coach and develop fixed asset and indirect tax staff accountants.
