Job summary

Atrium is seeking a Fixed Assets Analyst to join our Corporate Accounting and R2R team. You will manage fixed asset transactions, depreciation, disposals, and capitalization, ensuring GAAP compliance and accurate subledger reporting.

In this role you will partner with Finance, Operations, and Shared Services across multiple entities, support monthly close, and contribute to process improvements and automation using SAP or similar ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related function.
• 2+ years of experience with SAP or a comparable ERP system in a Shared Services environment.
• Experience with fixed asset accounting, general ledger reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close activities.
• Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP, accounting principles, and internal controls.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day fixed asset accounting activities, including asset additions, transfers, disposals, and depreciation.
• Maintain accurate fixed asset records and ensure proper classification and capitalization of assets.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual fixed asset accounting and close activities.
• Prepare and post journal entries related to depreciation, capital expenditures, asset disposals, and other fixed asset transactions.
• Reconcile fixed asset subledger balances to the general ledger and investigate discrepancies.
• Prepare financial reports and supporting schedules related to fixed asset balances, depreciation, capital expenditures, and disposals.
• Support financial statement preparation and ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and company accounting policies.
