Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field with at least 9 hours in accounting.
• Alternatively, 30 hours of college credit with at least 3 hours in accounting and a minimum of two years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or banking with complex reconciliation experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and 10-key by touch.

Responsibilities

• Maintain fixed asset inventory system, including additions, disposals, and transfers.
• Facilitate annual fixed asset inventory and audits.
• Prepare journal entries, interdepartmental charges, and related accounting transactions.
• Prepare monthly sales tax reports and annual 1099s for Midland College and Foundation.
• Review W-9s and record donations and check requests.
