Job summary

Warren CAT in Midland, TX seeks an Accountant I to own fixed asset records and reconcile them to the general ledger for all Warren entities. The role supports the monthly close and prepares financial reports.

You will analyze error reports, post corrections, and collaborate with operations to clear reconciling items. A degree in accounting or 2–4 years in accounting is preferred with strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or 2-4 years in an accountant role.
• Basic knowledge of general accounting.
• Exceptional analytical and problem solving abilities.
• Detail oriented and able to interact with multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Manage fixed asset records with monthly reconciliation to the general ledger for all Warren Equipment Company subsidiaries.
• Analyze system generated error reports and post corrections to the general ledger for multiple Warren entities.
• Oversee general ledger accounts and analyze reconciling items.
• Collaborate with operations to clear reconciling items.
• Assist in preparation of monthly close and quarterly financial reports.
• Contribute to ad-hoc projects related to financial reporting, analysis, accounts payable or accounts receivable.
