Jobot is seeking a Permanent Fixed Assets Accountant to join our team. The role focuses on managing the fixed asset register, depreciation, inventories, and reporting to support financial health.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and IFRS, particularly for fixed asset management.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the fixed asset register with accuracy.
  • Calculate and record monthly depreciation for all fixed assets.
  • Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconciliations of fixed assets.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual fixed asset reports.
  • Collaborate with other departments to optimize asset utilization.
  • Develop and implement fixed asset management policies and procedures.
  • Conduct impairment reviews for intangible assets.
  • Prepare audit schedules and assist auditors.
  • Support budgeting with fixed asset information.
  • Participate in special projects and other duties as needed.

We are currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled Permanent Fixed Assets Accountant to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing and controlling the fixed assets of our company. Responsibilities
  1. Manage and maintain the company’s fixed asset register, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data.
  2. Calculate and record monthly depreciation for all fixed assets.
  3. Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconciliations of fixed assets.
  4. Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual fixed asset reports.
  5. Work collaboratively with other departments to optimize the utilization of fixed assets.
  6. Assist in the development and implementation of fixed asset management policies and procedures.
  7. Conduct periodic impairment reviews for intangible assets.
  8. Prepare audit schedules relating to fixed assets, and assist auditors in their inquiries.
  9. Support the budgeting process by providing information on fixed assets.
  10. Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  3. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel.
  4. Exceptional knowledge of GAAP and IFRS, particularly in relation to fixed asset management.
  5. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and produce meaningful insights.
  6. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  7. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  8. Detail-oriented, with a strong focus on accuracy and quality of work.
  9. Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, and to take initiative in optimizing processes and procedures.
